Wobbles is Ready for Her Close Up in Her Starring Role as Your Next Pet

Hey, there, I’m Wobbles! I’m a very special girl who is looking for a very special home that is willing to accept me for who I am. I’m a spayed black and white domestic shorthair that weighs approximately 4.20 pounds, so I’m on the petite side. The shelter staff at Pima Animal Care Center in Tucson think that I am about 1.7 years old, which makes me still quite young.

Special Needs Pets

Considered a special needs kitty, I have a condition known as cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), also known as wobbly kitten syndrome. It’s a balance issue that boils down to my shaking and having awkward motions when moving around. In other words, I am not really able to walk normally and kind of flop as I move around. Unfortunately, there is no treatment or cure for wobbly kitten/cat syndrome, so kitties like me live with the condition our entire lives.

Don’t worry, though, because it doesn’t hurt me at all, and I am able to adapt and hang out with other cats with no problems whatsoever. To give you an idea of my mobility, I can even climb very short cat trees! I am also able to use the litter box the majority of the time without missing it. Pretty cool, huh?
