Top 10 Pet-Friendly Cities In the United States

Dogs are not just pets, but they are part of the family. 89 million dog parents in the U.S. would agree. So naturally, we would like to live in a city that accommodates their needs.

Fido only requires unconditional love, quality food and water, space to run around, and a knowledgable vet. The only thing they want is to be by our side. Whether you are headed out to lunch, or taking a family trip, Fido wants to join.

Wallethub ranked 100 U.S. cities on their pet-friendliness based on 21 key variables. The top ten received high marks for their accommodating pet service businesses, pet-friendly restaurants, low vet costs, and stellar dog parks.

Any of these would be great places to vacation or live with Fido. Check out the top 10 list below.

Top 10 Pet-Friendly Cities

10. Las Vegas, NV

This may surprise you, since “sin city” is known more for gambling than dogs. However, it has the third most veterinarians per capita in the U.S. It also ranked third highest for most dog parks per capita. So it looks like Las Vegas is a dog “playground” too.
