Service Dog In Training Freaks Out Meeting “Up” Character

Henry is an adorable golden retriever from Nashville, Tennessee. He’s also currently doing work training for a very important job: being a service dog to his owner, Jessica Paulsen, who has a chronic illness.

While it’s taken a lot of time and effort to prepare Henry, things with the precious canine are still a work in progress – although Jessica has expressed how very proud she is of how far he’s come.

Through their shared Instagram account and YouTube channel, Jessica is sure to document their journey together. She even shares training tips and tricks with her viewers and followers.

Part of Henry’s training included getting introduced to new people and situations in order to help him learn how to appropriately behave while he’s got his vest on. This also includes trips to Disney theme parks.

And for the pair, this meant a recent trip to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. While there, they encountered everyone’s favorite furry character from “Up.” And Henry couldn’t contain his excitement at meeting the fictional canine character!

He was literally jumping for joy as he happily attacked the person in the costume. We’re certain that if Henry could talk, he’d have told the character, “I have just met you and I love you.” For this happy and star-struck dog, dreams came true.

And who can blame him? Disneyland is supposed to be the happiest place on Earth. I’m sure even a service dog can have a little bit of fun. It was so adorable watching Henry lose his composure at meeting his giant, animated counterpart.
