A three-legged deer, named Rudie, is making news and changing lives!
Rudie was brought to a vet clinic at only two days old. He was so little and in need of care. He was missing half of his front leg so the rest had to be amputated. Rudie also needed a home that could understand his special needs.
Thanks to a caring nurse at the clinic, Rudie got the perfect place to live! At her home, he was able to get the proper care he needed AND some pawsome puppy siblings! The dogs and Rudie bonded immediately!
Rudie grew stronger everyday and with each milestone, Rudie learned that his new world wasn’t just a lot of fun but it was also filled with unconditional love. Rudie wanted to give back so he became a “therapy deer” where he makes frequent visits to nursing homes. The residents love him!
This little deer isn’t just adorable, he’s as sweet as can be!
Julie resides in Northern New Jersey with her two kids, two dogs, cat and partner. She has two published books which make excellent trivets if you aren't a fan of poetry. She tolerates people but LOVES animals. If she isn't blogging, she's most likely cuddling with her pups, Paisley and Skyler.
