Lonely Woman Asks For A Sign, Then Sees 2 Senior Dogs On The News In Need Of Home

When Jeanette’s beloved dog passed away, she was absolutely devastated. The house was much quieter now, which made her feel even more lonely. She cried every single day and asked God for a sign.

That’s when she walked into her kitchen and saw a pair of senior dogs on the news who needed a home.

Without hesitation, she called up the shelter and immediately drove from New Jersey to New York City to meet them. It was love at first sight, and as soon as Jeanette saw Ruby and Chicky, she knew she had to adopt them.

She brought them back to her home, and the pair of seniors settled in rather quickly. The more time Jeanette spent with her new dogs, the quicker her heart healed from her devastating loss. Although she will always miss her late dog, Ruby and Chicky definitely help fill the void.

“They changed our life because they’re joyful, they’ll welcome you and they love you,” Jeanette said. “They are so grateful, it’s unbelievable.”

The house has life in it again, thanks to them. And Jeanette transformed their lives as well. They now have a loving home to spend their final years in. If it weren’t for Jeanette, they may have spent the end of their lives in a shelter, since many people don’t adopt older dogs.

Jeanette says Ruby and Chicky are the sweetest pups and love going for walks. But since they’re from New York City where there is no grass, it will take them some time to get used to it. They always stay on the concrete and avoid the grass, but once they do walk on it, they love it.

This is certainly a heartwarming story of ‘who rescued who?’ Hear more of their story in the video below:
