Rosy had been living on the streets of a market in Ukraine. Rescuers with Love Furry Friends heard about her and decided to investigate.
Two rescuers arrived at the market to look for the little dog, but they weren’t having much luck finding her. They were informed that she’d been living there her whole life and street vendors offered her food to eat.
After quite some time searching, they finally spotted the little pup! Thankfully, Rosy ended up being quite friendly and they didn’t have problems picking her up or examining her.
Unfortunately, they noticed the little dog had a festering infection on her ear. It appeared that someone had taken Rosy to be spayed, and the ear tag they place to identify her as spayed was not inserted properly – causing the area to become infected.

They also noticed her surgery area was not healing properly and knew she needed to be taken to the vet.
Once at the vet, it was determined that Rosy’s spay surgery had been done completely wrong. Whoever did it, didn’t take out the proper organs and didn’t allow her enough time to heal before returning her to the streets.
Rosy had to undergo a second surgery to correct her botched one.
Once she was healed from that, the rescuers took her in. They weren’t going to let Rosy go back to life on the streets.
Rosy is the sweetest dog and good with other pets and kids. She’s currently in search of a forever home but is living quite comfortably with her rescuers in the meantime.
