Sad Puppy Finally Finds A Home After 14 Failed Adoptions In 5 Weeks

A big puppy in North Carolina has finally found a loving home after 14 failed adoptions in a matter of weeks.

The puppy, Ronald, found himself at the SPCA of Wake County in Raleigh, North Carolina and they immediately got to work on finding him a loving home.

As it turns out, the puppy was incredibly easy to place and it didn’t take long to find him a home. Sadly, the home didn’t work out and the puppy was returned to the shelter.

The SPCA of Wake County shared about Ronald on Facebook, saying that he’d been adopted 14 times over the course of 5 weeks for being “too big” and “too strong.”

They said, “Help us break Ronald’s unlucky streak! 14 adoptions have fallen through for this lovely guy — mostly due to being too big/strong. It’s true, he’s a big boy! But for his large frame, he only weighs 63 lbs.”

They went on to say that the sweet pup “knows his commands, takes treats super gently, and is 100% sweet. He truly is a very good boy.”

“Now and then, if he gets excited, he might stand up and put his front paws on you or become a little mouthy. But he is a big puppy, after all! As long as you have reasonably sturdy footing, you’ll have no problem with Ronald. Plus, he loves treats and practicing his tricks, so he’ll be a great student for any training,” they added.

Thankfully, they were pleased to announce in a follow-up post that Ronald had finally found his perfect match of a family!

They said, “Ronald’s unlucky streak has officially ended!!!…is new family says he is doing so great with the kids, and they are just obsessed with him.”

Based on the pictures included with the post, it’s safe to say that Ronald has found a great place to call home. He’s getting plenty of love and snuggles and attention.

We’re so happy that Ronald’s streak of bad luck is over!
