Dogs Can’t Contain Their Excitement When They Hear The Mail Man

Dogs and mailmen are classic enemies. Typically, when we think of the mailman showing up, we imagine dogs will viciously bark. There’s a reason they often carry dog treats in their bags!

But for two dogs who live in Katie’s household, they happen to be best friends with the mailman.

Ring security camera footage captured the moment the mail carrier arrived at the home and was enthusiastically greeted by Will, a Weimaraner, and Jack, a bernedoodle.

In the video, you can see the two dogs excitedly spring to the front port to gree the mail carrier. In fact, Jack was so excited to get to the mail person that he spring past Anjelo, the mail person, and slammed right into the door!

The mailman was more than happy to give the pups the attention they craved. He happily gave them a few pats.

The mailman said, “Oh, man. He’s hilarious,” speaking of Jack.

Katie replied, “Yeah, he doesn’t know how to control his body.”

Berndoodles are a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a poodle. They’re known to be both clever and goofy, and Jack seems to embody all of that!

Weimaraners, like Will, were originally bred to be big-game hunters, according to the American Kennel Club. They’re a bit more controlled in their movements, as you can from the video.
