Please meet our heart treat, Rolo!

Through our doors pass many lives, like a basket full of sweetness gathered up by a warm-hearted person after their mom was hit by a car. We often field questions about why keeping cats inside is so important. We have sadly experienced many tragedies brought on by cats not being in a protected area, like these kittens loosing their mom.

We couldn’t refuse to help this newly-born helpless family, so they were placed in one of our experienced bottle feeding foster homes. This litter of five was too cute and sweet to not garner names of candy and treats. Then, just like different treats and candies have different people who like them, this litter was split up to walk different life paths.

Three of the kittens were transferred to another rescue in an area with many more adopting homes, and both Snow Caps and Rolo were adopted. We were dismayed when Rolo’s adopter contacted us because they wanted to return her. Always happy to support one of our kittens with whatever they may need, our hearts sank that Rolo wasn’t really with her forever family.

Rolo came back to The Cat House, and she was thoroughly checked again by our veterinarian to make sure that there were no health issues. Transitions can be confusing or hard to understand for any being, but Rolo has that delightful catitude that life is fun and she should enjoy experiencing it.

She has many many kitten friends to play with in the adoption rooms, but she still seeks her human bond that she has become very fond of each time visitors or potential adopters come in. Please help her heart and all of ours by sharing our sweet Rolo into her family for life. Here’s Rolo’s profile:

FanTABBulous little one-year-old Rolo is a little timid at first, but don’t let that fool you! In no time, she’ll be hoping you have a minute for one of her favorite things – a tiny tabby tummy rub! She loved to play with her cutie pie litter-mates and go on little adventures exploring everything, sometimes over and over!

You may often find her napping in a completely new place, but don’t be surprised when she turns up in your lap looking for a snuggle when you least expect it! Her easy-going, easy-care, companionable nature will make her right at home with a family that will appreciate her great qualities. Delectable little Rolo would love to be the meow-velous new addition in your forever home! Are you interested? Apply to adopt her here!
