Freud said: “Time spent with cats is never wasted,” and boy was he right! Whether it’s vegging about, watching T.V. or enjoying a meal together, cats make excellent company. The hardest part about having a cat is… leaving them. BUT, thankfully, you get to return home and be with them all over again. Do you say goodbye to your cat when you’re leaving? I do too!
Is your cat happy to see you when you come home? Many people assume that only dogs greet you at the door but that is not true at all. Cats have been known to come running when they hear the key in the lock. That magical sound means one thing: My human is finally here! YAY!
My cat will brush against my legs and meow over and over. Almost saying, “Where have you been?” AND “I’m so happy you’re home!”
It seems Sigmund Freud wasn’t alone in his philosophy. Approximately 35 percent of all households in the U.S. have a cat. The United States has the most amount of pet cats in the world! Can you guess the second most cat popular country? CHINA! The U.S. has approximately 74 million pet cats. And China has approximately 53 million pet cats. WOW, that’s a lot of cats!
How many cats do you have in your household?
