Let it never be said that Oklahomans don’t follow the rules.
A Tractor Supply Store in Elk City, OK, was recently visited by a man in a cowboy hat, chaps and big boots. He wasn’t there to rustle up any trouble, he just saw the sign outside and thought he’d inquire.
This store allows pets indoors, so long as they’re on a leash.
The man had a pet, and it was indeed leashed. He stated it plainly.
“I’m a senior, here to buy feed for my senior horse,” the man said. “Can he come in?'”
The story was relayed to the public by Robin Morris, who posted his experience to Facebook. Morris witnessed the man ask politely, then bring his horse inside.
As the Dodo reports, the store manager obliged the man and his horse. It was much cooler inside, after all.
There are a number of companies throughout the United States that will allow pets to come in with their owners. Stores like Lowes, Macy’s, even LUSH will allow pets inside.
