We have all been there…you know, that moment when you’ve been on a diet for a few days and all you want is a cookie. No matter how much you imagine the apple tasting like a cookie, it simply doesn’t work. Literally, nothing will do in place of that cookie, and it’s eating up (no pun intended) your whole day.
Mya, a 12-year-old Australian Shepherd, knows the feeling all too well. She is on a diet and is not happy about it. And we definitely can’t blame her for that.
One great thing about having other people give you your food is that you can’t really cheat on your diet without permission. But that can’t stop you from throwing a temper tantrum when you don’t get what you want. And that’s exactly what Mya does.
A month into the diet, she cannot control herself and wants a cookie now.
Mya asked her mom for a cookie in her own special little way, only to be told “no,” which, we can imagine, was immensely frustrating for her. What started as a minor disagreement quickly escalated into an argument and finished with a tantrum. The intensity only increased when Mya’s mother offered an apple, which is totally understandable, because, as we discussed earlier, an apple simply won’t cut it when a cookie is all you really want.
Mya, we feel your pain and understand the desire you have for a cookie. We admire your determination and applaud you for knowing what you want and asking for it. Plus, we appreciate how you’ve made us laugh with this awesome video!
