Man Has Maternity Photoshoot With His Beloved Pregnant Dachshund

20-year-old Daquan Collins, of Florida, absolutely adores his pregnant dachshund, Heidi.

In fact, he loves her so much that he decided to pose in pictures with her for a “maternity photoshoot.”
“The shoot was a spur of the moment thing I was sitting in the yard and I yelled to my sister to just start taking pictures,” Collins told BuzzFeed News.

In the pictures, you’ll see Collins lying in the grass next to Heidi as she lays on her back, showing off her pregnant belly. She is glowing! Collins says she gets camera shy and will lie still if she knows you’re recording. I say that makes for a perfect photo subject!

Collins then posted the adorable pictures on his Twitter page for his followers to enjoy, but he had no idea that his tweet would wind up going viral. The tweet was retweeted nearly 60,000 times and liked more than 130,000 times. Collins says he likes all of the attention, and so does Heidi!

Heidi is nine weeks pregnant which means she will be having her puppies any day now! Dogs are usually pregnant for 58 to 68 days.

Thankfully Heidi has such a great owner to help her take care of her pups.

Maybe there will be another photoshoot in the future, except this time, with her puppies in the pictures!

This is not the first time that a doggy maternity shoot has been done. This teen has recently had a photoshoot done for her pregnant dog who sported a beautiful flower crown.
