Senior Dog Bullied By Kids Hides By A Fence Until Help Arrives
For a stray dog living in South Africa, life was hard. The neighborhood kids were cruel to the poor pup and bullied him because he was old.
The helpless dog, later named Porkie, spent so many years living on the streets, things probably felt hopeless by the time help finally arrived.
Sidewalk Specials found out about the dog being bullied by the kids and immediately went to help.
They found poor little Porkie huddled under a tree, pressed against the fence. It was the only place the elderly dog felt safe – his own little corner from the world.
But Sidewalk Specials was going to make sure this dog got to live his golden years in comfort. Porkie didn’t know it, but his life was about to change drastically for the better.
Porkie was taken in by rescuers and got settled into his new home. He was so happy to be loved! It wasn’t long before a family came to adopt him and now he’s living his best life.
He has his very own dog bed and the freedom to do zoomies and get pets in peace, without worrying about being hurt by kids or other dogs.
He really came out of his shell since being rescued, and it’s clear he’s going to live his best days in comfort.
