What is a Poodle Cat?

Poodle Cats, known by the scientific name Selkirk Rex, are a unique breed of cats characterized by their distinctive curly hair. They originated in Montana in 1987, when a rescue cat gave birth to a litter and one of the cats had a genetic condition which caused the curly hair. Poodle cats can have long or short hair, depending on the specific breed.
