Meet The Rescue Rooster That Thinks He’s A House Dog

If you’re like most people, the first thing that you think of when you think of a family pet is a faithful dog.

Sure, there is plenty of room for those who are “cat people” but for the sake of this article, let’s just consider a dog to be the family pet.

We love dogs because they are faithful and they are there for us through thick and thin. It doesn’t matter what type of day we are having, a dog will be there to greet us with its tail wagging.

Sometimes, people make the decision to have a more unusual family pet but it doesn’t mean that they love them any less. That is the case with Boo, a Cornish cross rooster that was saved by her human from the meat industry.

Boo not only worked himself into the family, but he also did everything he could to be a part of his human’s life. On Instagram, Boo is described as being a fun little person with a unique personality and when you see the videos below, you can’t help but agree.

It was late in October 2017 when his human heard about his difficult living conditions. She read about him on a Facebook group and knew instantly that she had to rescue him from those dire circumstances.

After some work, Boo was adopted and although he was struggling at first, he has done quite well since then. He’s an awesome pet to his human and everything that a pet owner could possibly want. He even has done some traveling and has been to the beach and to Washington DC.

You can see him in all his glory of the following videos:
