You won’t believe the sacrifices this Peruvian nurse has made for these sick kitties. Nurse Maria Torero of Lima is using her passion and knowledge to care for others by putting energy into creating a hospice for cats living with feline leukemia.

Transforming her two-story, eight-room apartment into a cat hospice, for the past five years she has been caring for 175 cats in their dying days. She feels her duty is to care for these cats that nobody no longer cares about. Let’s thank Maria for the compassion she has for these cats!
