Paula Abdul Is Heartbroken After Two Of Her Beloved Dogs Pass Away In The Same Week
Losing one dog is heartbreaking, but two in the same week is beyond devastating.
Paula Abdul announced on Instagram that two of her beloved dogs passed away in the same week. She posted, “This last week, I lost two of my precious angels- Tinkerbell and Charity. A big piece of my heart is missing.”
She went on to say, “So grateful to have been their Mommy and for all the unconditional love they gave me for all these years. It’s amazing the kind of love a dog provides- it’s truly a gift from God.”
The singer is finding comfort in her other small rescue dogs, Bessie Moo and Nemo. She has a special place in her heart for Chihuahuas and recently adopted Nemo, a three-legged dog, who fit in perfectly with her senior pups. The rescue, Pet Matchmaker Rescue Inc, posted the great news by saying, “Nemo will live a wonderful life in a Chihuahua savvy home where all of his future medical needs will be met and he will be spoiled and doted over for the rest of his life. Thank you @paulaabdul for choosing to Rescue and save a life.”
Her beloved dogs are always by her side and she shared her love for them on National Dog Day by posting, “Happy #NationalDogDay from me and my nap buddy Bessie Moo 😴🐶 The love and companionship of a dog is unlike any other and I have been blessed with so many amazing pups, including sweet Bessie, Charity & Tinker Bell ♥️🐾.”
