Woman Adopts An Obese Cat And Transforms His Live For The Better

If you spend any amount of time hanging around a conversation, it won’t be long before it turns to diet. People seem to be obsessed with diets, and they want to be healthy and trim.

It doesn’t take much looking, however, to realize that humans sometimes fall short of the mark. They may also have cats in their lives that fall short of the mark as well.

Unfortunately, some people are killing their cats with kindness. They feed them too much food or perhaps even the wrong type of food and before you know it, the cat is morbidly obese.

That is what one woman saw when she went to adopt a cat of her own. She considered it to be one of the world’s most obese cats, but now you wouldn’t even recognize him.

Bob, the obese feline was adopted by Lea Dallas and he was 36 pounds at the time. That’s almost the weight of three average cats, so you can see the problem.

When she showed pictures of Bob on social media, many people were laughing and said he looks like Garfield. That may be true, but Dallas wasn’t laughing about his looks.

She loves Bob and she wants to do everything she can to have him around for the long term. She also joked about how he needed to lose some weight because when he sits on you, he can take your breath away.

Dallas got busy coming up with a plan to help Bob shed some pounds. It involved a strict diet low in calories and a good exercise program.

She didn’t take the treats away from Bob completely, but she did reduce them considerably. She also reduced his meal size, helping him to lose 14 pounds.

Dallas now shares the progress of her feline on TikTok and her 35,000+ followers absolutely love it.

Before and after pictures were shared on one video. He was 32 pounds in one image and 22 pounds and another.

She captioned the video, “Slow and steady wins the race.” More than 90,000 people have watched the video.

Another popular video shows the transformation of Bob in a different way. It comes from his perspective, saying how he used to be a fat boy but his human put him on a diet. Now he is a sexy boy.
