The 12-year-old cat was barely surviving on the streets of Georgia. While no one knows how she ended up on the street, she appears to have been in a home at one time. Cats in the Cradle, a no-kill and all-volunteer rescue group, took the emaciated cat in and provided the care she needed.

The sweet feline was skin and bones when she arrived. The starving cat devoured the tasty and nutritious food the shelter received through Greater Good Charities’ GOODS program, which was donated thanks to generous people like you.

Curley slowly regained her strength and is now a happy and healthy cat who will never go hungry again. She is our spokes-cat for this year’s National Feed A Rescue Pet Week, and we hope to save many more lives with your help.

Rescue pets all over the country need your help. July is one of the busiest months of the year for many shelters and rescues, and more animals means more hungry bellies. Food is the largest expense for shelters and one that they struggle to afford on their minimal budgets.
