Watchful Husky Doubles As Neighborhood’s Security Pup

Nala the husky is like most huskies in that she likes to do things her own way. Huskies are known for being independent and opinionated, and Nala is no different.

The watchful husky loves to climb onto her family’s roof and keep an eye out on the neighborhood.

It’s not just Nala that notices the neighbors either, but the neighbors notice her as well!

In fact, in an interview with Good Morning America, Nala’s owner, Jason Camerana, explained that the dog has had animal control and police called her on.

People aren’t used to seeing a dog on the roof of a house like that and it can be alarming for those who don’t know her. Some people even think she’s trapped up that!

Jason makes it clear though that Nala can come and go as she pleases, within reason. In the summer months, he limits her roof time because of the heat but in winter, she gets free reign of the roof and loves to spend time perched up there.

While it’s not clear how effective Nala is as a watchdog, I think it’s safe to say that people would be hesitant to rob a house with a husky on top of it!
