When we think about adopting a dog, we often think about adopting a puppy. But what about the (many) senior dogs out there in shelters that need a loving home? What happens to them? The truth is, adopting a senior dog is win/win. They are often housebroken and enjoy lounging about. They are calm and easier to walk on a leash. There are so many wonderful qualities senior dogs possess. Also, senior dogs are less likely to be adopted so when you take one home, you are really doing something AH-MAZING!
