Miranda Lambert And Her Husband Rescue Tiny Kitten From Texas Highway
Miranda Lambert, country star and animal lover, isn’t taking a break from making music or rescuing animals.
However, she is not alone in her pursuit of saving animals in need. Her love of rescuing animals appears to be rubbing off on her husband.
The musician was recently on a road trip in Texas with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, when they encountered a stray kitten in need of help.

Miranda shared the rescue story on her Instagram page and said, “Two lane highway in Texas, speed limit 70. Brendan slows down and does a U-turn.”
Surprised by the change in direction, Miranda asked Brendan, “why are you turning around?”, to which he replied, “there’s a kitten in the road and I knew you would kill me if I saw it and didn’t stop.”
She proudly wrote, “Well I guess the rescue ways are rubbing off on him.”

The couple saved the adorable ginger kitten with big blue eyes and named him Tequila. “He is 4-5 weeks old and weighs 14 Ounces,” said Miranda. Brendan and Miranda took some time to cuddle with the sweet kitten.
Instead of dropping Tequila off at a local shelter, they took him on their road trip back to Nashville. “This kitten rode 9 hours back to Nashville with us and 3 dogs and was such a champ.”

Miranda found inspiration for new music on the road and the couple is inspiring others with their kind hearts.
