Meet Madame Zorro, the Not-So Swashbuckling Kitty Searching for Forever Love

Meet Madame Zorro, a 2-year-old tuxedo kitty with unusual markings. If you haven’t already noticed, her adorable face is neatly bisected with a black Zorro mask. She may not be any good with a fencing foil, but she’s got a lot of heart and personality just the same. Here’s her story:

This one-of-a-kind lady was saved from the streets just in time to have a safe, cozy place to give birth. She was a great mama bear to her four babies, but they’ve all been adopted, and now it’s her turn for a chance at happiness in a safe and loving environment!

Rescue Cats

This sweet girl appreciates the finer things of indoor life now, such as window watching, comfy beds, and, of course, yummy food! Madame Zorro likes to be petted on her terms and can be a bit of a diva sometimes, but that’s just her mature personality of knowing what she likes and when.

As far as playing, having fun, and remaining grounded, being provided with a routine and one-on-one playtime has really helped her adjust (especially using a laser pen for her to chase or feather wand toys to tangle with). She is also a talker and once comfortable, can even be found sleeping next to you.

Shelter Kitties

Madame Zorro would likely do best in a home where she is the queen of her castle. She also needs a cat-savvy owner who understands her cues and quirks. She has been around dogs and other cats but doesn’t seem to be a fan. It may be different with the right respectful pets. It is, however, preferred that she doesn’t go to a home with children at this stage, and that may never change.

Madame Zorro is spayed, current on all of her vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She also has no special needs and is house-trained.
