Artistic Shiba Inu Creates Beautiful Abstract Paintings And Sells Them Online

That is one talented pup!

Hunter is a 5-year-old Shiba Inu who lives with his owners in Alberta, Canada. He’s becoming quite the talk of the art world after impressing people with his brilliant abstract-painting skills.

Hunter even has his own Etsy store, run by owners, Kenny and Denise.

The couple started teaching Hunter how to paint in 2017 and noticed his unusual but natural talent right from the get-go.

“One thing that we are always impressed with is how unique each painting is,” Kenny told StoryTrender. “He can get pretty creative with his brush strokes depending on his mood. We see lots of dabs and checkmarks with the heavier brushes and then some loops and flicks with the lighter brushes.”

Hunter has sold over 150 paintings so far and has made his owners almost $5,000 to date. His paintings usually sell for around $55 apiece.

Each painting session lasts anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes.

“We’ve seen a lot of support for Hunter from everyone over the past couple of years,” Kenny said. “We love seeing the memes and reading the fan mail that Hunter gets. We feel that Hunter’s work relates to a lot of people, especially now with everything being online. Many people who enjoy Hunter’s work are animal lovers or, some more specifically, Shiba lovers.”
