A small dog was saved from the brink of death after being brutally beaten by the person he trusted most, his owner.
A woman named Liza came to the dog’s rescue and immediately took him to the intensive care unit. It was clear that he was in bad shape and needed quick medical care.

The dog, who they named Loris, was immediately taken into surgery and they were able to save his life. However, the chances that he’d ever walk again were slim.
After surgery, Loris remained in the intensive care unit to undergo rehabilitation. At first, he wasn’t able to move much at all, but eventually, he got the hang of scooting around. It took a while, but he was eventually strong enough to go home!
His rescuer, Liza, opened her home to Loris and he got to continue rehabilitation there. She worked with him every day to get stronger, happier, and healthier.
While Loris may never walk properly again, he can get around and he seems quite happy being in a home with people who love him.
