Liquid Probiotic For Cats & Dogs Recalled

On December 1, 2021, Livia Global, Inc voluntarily recalled two lots of its liquid probiotics, one for humans and another for dogs and cats, due to the possibility of contamination by Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

“Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a microorganism found in the environment that, if ingested, can cause life-threatening infection in immunocompromised individuals,” states the FDA.

No illnesses have been reported at this time. The voluntary recall occurred after the issue was found during a routine 3rd party laboratory testing.

What is recalled?

The recall is for the following products with the Lot# 001005-1 and Best by date: 04/2023 & LiviaOne Nasal Probiotics with Lot# 010620-1 Best by 08/2023. Lot numbers are located on the side of the bottle and on the bottom of the package.

What To Do

If you have purchased the recalled product, stop feeding it and dispose of it immediately. People are then asked to call Livia Global Customer Care to request a full refund.
