This 19-year-old cat, named Lauren BaCall, was brought to Best Friends Animal Society’s Pet Adoption Center in Los Angeles.
Staff discovered that she is blind, but she soon became a fan-favorite. Best Friends staff immediately fell in love with the sweet elderly kitty.
She may be blind, but she is just like any other cat, and gets around with ease. She loves attention and despite her old age, she is still very playful and curious.
Finding a home for shelter animals can be challenging, especially if they are older in age. Lauren may be 19, but she still has a lot of life left in her. She is very adventurous and still has so much love to give.
Thankfully, finding a forever home for her did not take as long as staff thought it would. She found a loving family and she could not be happier!
She absolutely adores her new family, and even has a new doggy sibling who she gets along great with. She loves lounging around the house and getting comfortable on the couch or even the bed. She is showered with so much love, and finally has people who she can love in return. Her new human is head over heels in love with her, and they have already grown such a precious bond.
Lauren BaCall was given a second chance at life, and now her remaining years will be filled with love, comfort and adventure.
Every cat and animal deserves a second chance like Lauren got. If you’re interested in adding a new furry member to your family, please adopt!
Growing up, Ashley always had a passion for writing. After receiving her Bachelor's in Journalism from Stony Brook University, she now uses that passion to write about the thing she loves most in this world: animals! When she isn't writing, you can find her curled up on the couch with a kindle in her hands and her Guinea Pigs on her lap.
