Jon Stewart Is Retiring From Television, And You Won’t Believe What He’s Doing Next!

For many years, Jon Stewart has used comedy to introduce politics to a younger crowd. His wit and dry humor made for an entertaining show, and now that he’s retiring from television, it’s time for his next adventure. In a recent episode of the Daily Show, Stewart interviewed Gene Bauer, the founder of Farm Sanctuary. Bauer’s organization’s goal is to promote a symbiotic relationship between humans and animals, and to protect animals from human cruelty.

This cause is one that hits close to home for Jon and his wife Tracey, who have been animal advocates for many years. Tracey is actually a former veterinary technician, and they have a house full of rescue animals. For Jon’s first project after his retirement from television, he has purchased a farm in New Jersey, and the Stewarts are teaming up with Gene Bauer and the Farm Sanctuary in order to create their own safe haven for farm animals!

What a great start to a hopefully peaceful and fun filled retirement for Jon Stewart! Learn more about the sanctuary in the video!
