Jackson Galaxy Visits the “911 Cat” On “My Cat From Hell”

Why would anyone call 911 on the family cat?

That was the question on everyone’s lips last March when Lux, a 22-pound Himalayan house cat, trapped his family in their bedroom, forcing them to turn to local police for help. The 911 dispatch recording was shown on news networks around the world, and left audiences stunned — including our very own Cat Daddy, Jackson Galaxy.

As soon as he and his crew from Animal Planet’s “My Cat From Hell” heard Lux’s story, they made their way to Portland, Oregon to meet Lux’s owners and perform a much-needed cat crisis intervention.

According to Jackson, there’s a lot more to the case of the “911 Cat” than the news stories reveal.

“I can say without hesitation that Lux is the most complicated character I think I’ve ever dealt with,” he said in a recent interview for The Oregonian.

We’ll be on the edge of our seats this weekend when the episode airs!
