More Than 350 Abused Animals Rescued From Hoarding Situation in Georgia

A call was placed to The Humane Society, as well as several rescue groups near Habersham County, Georgia. A HUGE hoarding case was discovered with over 350 dogs living on one property. They were hungry, dirty, and living in deplorable conditions. Some dogs were stuck in a cage, on mounds of feces and dirt, with no where else to go.

Thankfully, their lives were about to get much better. Some dogs couldn’t even eat or drink due to severe dental disease. Others had infections, making it impossible to see or hear. With proper veterinary care, a safe and clean place to live, and proper nutrition, many of the dogs will make a full recovery.
