House Cat Stands In For A Wild Cougar As The Local News Camera Was Rolling
If somebody spotted a wild cougar in your area, there’s no doubt that you would be interested in the subject. It seems as if that is what happened in Hernando, Mississippi.
A man apparently spotted a wild cougar along the road and even got some video of the big cat.
The local news was all over it, and they came to the scene to report on what was likely one of the biggest news stories of the day for the local area.

Scott Madaus was the reporter on the scene, who warmed everybody up to the news story by telling them that there was a large cat on the loose in the area.
Suddenly, the camera scanned the area and fixed on a house cat that was sitting in the tall grass.

The little cat seemed unfazed by the humans who were standing there, watching as he just sat and enjoyed the day.
The reporter said that even though there was a cougar spotted, the house cat was not it. He also said that it was like that, but “much bigger and scarier.”

He shared the video on Facebook, captioning the video: “The cat that stole the show. Not really sure how my live tease made social media let alone international social media. But here you go if you didn’t catch it.”
