A Harvard study is proving what a lot of us suspected all along: Dogs make us healthier. YUP! Some live by: An apple a day keeps the doctor away. While others (like ME!) live by: Life with a dog makes things a lot better. Plus, my dogs LOVE apples so we share one a day. I eat most of it of course. HAHA!
Being with a dog is a healthy lifestyle choice. Hanging out with a dog lowers bad hormone levels and increases good ones. Dogs make us more social outdoors, giving us an excuse to get outside and enjoy life. Plus, people are more likely to engage with you if you have a dog (and the statistic increases if they have a dog as well!).
So, you see, adopting a dog is a healthy choice to make. I highly recommend we all do it! If you don’t have a dog, your local shelter already has your best friend there waiting, just go and meet him already! Let him improve your health while you make his life pawfect!
