The latest trend to displace the better judgement of otherwise responsible pet parents has emerged. Dog owners are covering their canine companions’ most sensitive areas with glitter.
According to Rare, the trend was first introduced to the public by the Royal Paws Pet Salon, which was quick to distance itself from the flashy new treatment.

“Now this is ballsy fashion 🙂 🙂 :)” commented Wendy Hawthorne.
Whether or not you appreciate the style, this trend is no threat to the health of a dog, if done right. Groomers have been using corn syrup to apply the edible glitter, which most will eventually lick off.
Still, it’s not for everyone.
“I want to stay as far away from my dogs business end as possible,” commented Hayley Owen. “As much as I love him our relationship is purely a strong friendship and don’t want to be putting edible body paint on his ball sack!”
