French Bulldog Eases Patients’ Anxiety At Dentist Office By Sitting On Their Chest
Most people dread going to the dentist and some even fear it.
Dental offices try to create an inviting and calming environment with soothing music and friendly staff, but one Nashville dentist has found a way to instantly help his clients relax.
Meet PeeWee.
The adorable French bulldog goes to work every day with his dad, cosmetic dentist Jeff Trembley. He spends his days sitting with and on clients to help them relax during dental procedures.
It all started when he was just a puppy. PeeWee hated being alone, so his dad brought him to his practice, Smile On Nashville, and gave him a spot to sit behind the reception desk.
He instantly won the hearts of the staff and clients with his friendly demeanor. Nervous patients started asking if they could sit with PeeWee and the rest is history.
The sweet pup isn’t just making clients smile but is spreading cheer around the world with his viral videos. Smile On Nashville’s TikTok account features video clips of PeeWee at work.
A recent video has over 2.7 million views with the caption, “Peewee the frenchie is the hardest working dog in Dentistry.”

People cannot get enough of the chill dog, and someone even said they would “pay extra for this.” Others said they would drive great distances or find an excuse to visit the dentist just to hang out with PeeWee.
PeeWee loves his job and there is no fee for his services.
Dr. Trembley said, “He has calmed the nerves of SOOOO many patients!”
Smile On Nashville has gained many new clients thanks to PeeWee – but he is not the only mascot dog at the office.
An English Mastiff named Minnie is the face of the office’s Nashville Humane Association Campaign.
“My dog Minnie brings a smile to my face everyday. So to honor her, I donate to the Nashville Humane Association every month, on behalf of every new patient,” stated Trembley.
