Feline Self-Portraits Taken To Another Level

FK_CatSelfie_400x350As we see more and more “selfies” being posted on social media and the cat craze growing online, it’s not a surprise that both have joined forces to create, Snapcat.

Snapcat was created as part of the EyeEm Photo Hack Day in Berlin this past June. It is an app that allows your pretty kitty to take photos of themselves in one quick swoop.

Using a fast moving icon when your phone is placed on a surface, this app will definitely catch your fast feline’s attention. A moving dot or bouncing laser will appear on the screen and once your cat catches the moving object, it then snaps a photo of your photogenic feline.

Just like Instagram, once your furry friend has taken it’s self-portrait, you can add filters or stickers from picture-editing site Aviary, before sending it out for all the world to see, “Like” and “Share.”

SnapCat is only Android compatible, but a similar app called Cat Selfie, has been created for iPhone and iPad users.

So have your feline friend, practice some moves along the catwalk so they can strike a pose for the camera!
