Two Labrador Retrievers Play Fetch With The Tiniest Stick

If you’ve ever owned or been around a lab, you know how high energy they can be. Labrador retrievers are always ready to play, and they love little more than playing fetch.

In fact, the AKC describes labs as “an enthusiastic athlete that requires lots of exercise, like swimming and marathon games of fetch.”

They love playing fetch with just about anything, but nothing can beat a good ol’ fashioned stick. I remember my cousin’s labrador retriever puppy trying to drag over a massive tree limb that’d fallen to play fetch with. It was 20 times the size of his little body, but he didn’t care!

Apparently, there are also dogs who go the opposite and are fine with the tiniest sticks available. That was the case for two labrador retrievers who were friends with Kasey Miller.

Miller’s sister was dog sitting for these two goofballs back in 2019, and they desperately wanted to play fetch. Miller captured a video of the two dogs eagerly waiting to play, their bodies shaking and wiggling in excitement.

Of course, before they could play, they needed to bring Miller a stick – and that’s exactly what they did.

However, it wasn’t your typical stick to play fetch with. It was more of a tiny twig.

Miller shared the hilarious moment on TikTok and it’s since received over 21 million views.

Miller did share in a comment that she did throw the twig for the dogs. She didn’t mention if they were able to find it.

As she shared in a Q&A video, since the video was from 2019 and the dogs weren’t hers, she won’t be able to share more content with them.

However, she does have her four dogs and two cats of her own, and you can see them on TikTok, @kaseymiller9.
