Dog Throws A Fit When He Doesn’t Get To Stop At The Coffee Shop

Anyone who is familiar with Dashunds knows just how stubborn they can be. While they’re often eager to please, Daschunds were bred to be independent hunters and have a naturally strong-willed and persistent nature.

The human mother of a Dachshund named Roscoe knows just how stubborn and expressive these dogs can be.

Like any good owner, the UK woman would take Roscoe on walks. While on lunch one day, the two were walking past one of their favorite spots: Costa coffee.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t time to stop, but Roscoe didn’t want to take “no” for an answer.

Rather than listening to his owner when it was time to move on, Roscoe decided he was going to stay at the coffee shop and hang out longer. He pulled back on his leash to try and stop them, but when his owner still refused, he threw a massive “fit” and completely rolled onto his back.

His owner tried tugging on his leash in different directions, but Roscoe refused to budge.

Eventually, his exasperated owner gave up and dropped his leash entirely.

It took her walking away before the dog finally perked up and followed.

The owner explained to ViralHog:

“This is me at lunchtime taking a walk in Bridgend Wales, waking past Costa coffee. Roscoe my dog wanted to stop for a coffee and a chill-out. He sometimes goes there with me and on this occasion, wanted to stop, although I wasn’t stopping that day. He always throws himself to the floor to get his own way. I normally have to carry him away. This time he walked but only after I pretended to walk away.”

It’s safe to say that this is one dog that knows what he likes and what he wants!
