Dog Used As A Living ‘Scarecrow’ In A Hot Field

Animals are living beings who are capable of feeling pain just like everyone else. Somehow, that fact gets lost on certain people.

It is really sad to think that there are people out there who are capable of neglecting and abusing animals for their own benefit. Sadly, these instances happen far too often. All around the world, animals are sadly mistreated.

And for one unfortunate pup in Sri Lanka, his life was a living nightmare. He spent his days as a “living scarecrow” in the middle of a field.

According to PawMyGosh, all he had for shelter was a miserable little cage in which he was crammed. The poor dog was left out under the sweltering sun, expected to scare off any animals that might try to enter the field.

As anyone could imagine, the poor dog was suffering greatly.

This was his whole life, until one day some local animal rescuers found out about the dog’s plight and knew that they had to help. They arrived on the scene and were horrified by what they saw.

The dog was scared and suffering, and he didn’t immediately trust the ones who were trying to help him. It took one man a little bit of time to show the dog that it was okay and he was there to help him.

Eventually, they were able to get the dog out of the field and back to a proper facility for help. The dog was found to be both dehydrated and anemic from his ordeal. But luckily for him, his nightmare was over and he was in the care of people that actually cared for him until he was eventually adopted out.

It’s so great that after such a tragic beginning, he got a happily ever after!
