Trainee Service Dog Falls In Love With Cinderella

The magic of Disneyland is not just for kids. One trainee service pup had the time of his life meeting all the Disney characters, especially Cinderella.

Elijah is a Golden Retriever mix in training to become a service dog with Canine Companions for Independence. The one-year-old pup was brought to Disneyland to learn how to be more confident and relaxed around people.

Ashley Wilt, Elijah’s handler, took the pup to the park and introduced him to many of the famous Disney characters to help boost his confidence. He enjoyed meeting all the friendly faces, however, when he met Cinderella he instantly fell in love with her.

Cinderella felt the same way about Elijah and asked to spend the entire day with the sweet boy. To add to the adorable moment, Elijah was wearing his Mickey Mouse hat as he plopped right into her lap. Cinderella said to Elijah, “I heard you’re cuddly, is this true?”

Elijah responds with a tail wag and rests his head in her lap. Her sweet demeanor won the heart of the little pup. The video was posted to Instagram and made the day of thousands of people.
