A Baby Deer Fell Into A Pool And Drowned, So This Woman Performed CPR To Save Her Life

Unfortunately, a baby deer wound up falling into someone’s swimming pool. The homeowner happened to be a doctor, and noticed the fawn drowning in the water.

She pulled the deer out of the pool and performed eight minutes of CPR on her, which was all caught on video. Toward the end of the video, the fawn coughs and comes back to life.

The woman then wrapped the fawn in a blanket and stroked her head gently. Not caught on camera, the fawn then walks to the edge of the woods where her mom was waiting for her.

Hopefully the fawn will be more careful next time, but this time she just happened to fall into the right pool. Thank goodness this woman was a doctor and knew exactly what to do!

The video has gone viral on Facebook after it was shared by Hero Animals, surpassing 1.2 million views. It’s definitely a dramatic rescue, but it has restored my faith in humanity! Watch for yourself in the video below:
