8 Unique Valentine’s Day Treats That Are Sure To Win The Heart Of Your Pet

6. Peanut Butter

Dogs love peanut butter; they’d eat it happily by the spoonful if you’d let them. But on Valentine’s Day, presentation matters, so you’ll have to take your game up a notch. Make your pup peanut butter balls by mixing together peanut butter, honey, and rolled oats. After chilling your mixture, roll it into little balls for a pup-friendly Valentine’s Day treat. Or you can go in another direction and opt for a peanut butter dog-friendly cookie. This treat combines peanut butter with pumpkin puree, eggs, brown rice flour, and a bit of cinnamon.

5. Meatballs

The great thing about whipping up some pet-friendly meatballs is that you don’t necessarily have to bake them. Just combine some slice-and-serve meat roll with some peas or grated carrots, roll it all into a ball, and you have a delicious and nutritious party food. Go for the gold and dress them up with toothpicks — but if you do, remember to remove the toothpicks before the feasting begins.
