Puppies are always cute, in my opinion, but there is just something about this sweet little Corgi that makes me want to scream! (In a good way!)

Those eyes! Those ears! That tiny gentle face! I’m in puppy heaven. Even better, he’s getting a taste of his favorite summer snack.

This Corgi is having a sweet summer day!

Do you have a favorite summer fruit? Watermelon is not only good for humans, it’s good for dogs to eat, too. It has health benefits as well. There’s lots of good stuff in there like fiber and lycopene. And, like its name, it’s filled with hydrating goodness. YUM! Try cutting it up into bite sized cubes and putting it in the freezer.

It makes a great snack on a hot day or after a long walk.

Here are some other fruits you can feed your furry friend, care of Trupanion:

  • Apple
  • Apricot
  • Banana
  • Blueberries
  • Cantaloupe
  • Cranberries
  • Mango
  • Orange
  • Pear

And if you’re more in the mood for veggies, here are some you might try:

  • Asparagus
  • Bell Peppers (red, green, orange, yellow)
  • Broccoli
  • Brussels Sprouts
  • Cabbage
  • Carrots
  • Cauliflower
  • Celery
