One day, a person witnessed someone taking their dog out of their house and putting him on the street. The person questioned the owner, who said the dog was sick and covered in fleas and ticks. The owner did not want the dog any longer, and was essentially kicking him out of the house.
But the person refused to let the poor dog lay panting in the grass. Not only was he just abandoned, but he is an elderly dog and also blind. The person took photos of the dog and shared it on Facebook.
That’s when Grace Lofton Kaye, founder of Their Lives Matter, saw the post. She then called a veterinary hospital seeking help for this dog. The dog, named Collin, was rushed to Pet House Animal Clinic in Miami, where he was treated right away.
They bathed Collin and wound up pulling off hundreds of ticks. From that moment on, Collin started to come back to life. He ate more and was even able to go for a walk.
