Coconut would have never been adopted if it wasn’t for the ASPCA’s rehabilitation team. She couldn’t even be touched. She was beyond frightened because she had never had real human contact. In just 6 weeks, she went from being petrified of humans to being totally at ease. Programs like these are saving thousands of dogs from being euthanized. I am so moved.
