This little Pit Bull puppy, neglected and covered in mange, was left tied outside by people who didn’t appreciate her. That was their loss, of course, because dogs will give way more love than they receive. Even to people who don’t deserve it.
A firefighter, named Mike Thawley, rescued the pup and named her Chunkie, or Chunk for short. Thawley felt protective of her immediately. He brought her to a shelter where she got proper medical attention and a chance to find a new forever family.
But then, he got a call that Chunk wasn’t doing so well. She was sad and lonely. Thawley hopped right into his car and raced over! In uniform, he greeted his little friend and tried to cheer her up.
Thawley got her a cute little shirt too! The shirt will help her while the mange on her skin heals. Doesn’t she look perfect?
After visiting Chunkie, and realizing just how much they love each other, Thawley decided to go home and ask his wife if they could foster her. I wonder what she will say!
Here is Thawley and Chunk’s first video! Look at that chemistry!
I wonder what will happen next in their second video… Hmmmm. GET READY TO JUMP UP AND DOWN FOR THIS PAWFECT ENDING! The second video warmed my heart and soul!
