Charleston Pug Is Sorry For The Noise, And His Apology Is Going ViralMatthew Russell
Charleston Chew is sorry.
He just can’t help it. The pug gets sad when his human mother leaves home, and his sorrowful wail lets others know.
Owner Sharla Wilson moved into a Pittsburgh apartment recently, K99.1 FM reports. Her dog Charleston is blind, and is still getting used to the new space. So, when she leaves, he lets the neighbors know.

Wilson thought it best to apologize to her apartment community, and put up a note with pictures of Charleston to let them know what they might be hearing.
“Hello, Neighbors! My name is Charleston Chew and I’m very sorry for my howling,” the note begins. “I’m an old man now, with cataracts, and sometimes I get real scared because I can’t see where I am and I can’t find my mom.”

“As I get used to my new place, I will start to settle down,” the note continues. “Thanks for being patient with me. I don’t mean to be such a pain.”

Charleston is much less of a pain than he may realize. Wilson’s neighbors were impressed with the note, and more than happy to hear Charleston’s howling for a little longer.
Since then, the pug’s developed an online persona, as well. His Twitter account, Charleston Pug, has already attracted over 2,300 followers in less than a month.
