If you’re familiar with cats, you know they each think they’re the queen (or king) of the house. They like things the way they like them, and they don’t care what anyone thinks.
It only seems fitting that if cats are going to parody something, it’s going to be one of the greatest rock songs of all time, like “Bohemian Rhapsody” by British rock band Queen.
Of course, in true cat fashion, cats have to be the star of the show.
YouTuber Shirley Șerban often recreates lyrics of popular songs, but this may be her best parody yet.
In “Bohemian Catsody – A Rhapsody Parody Song for Every Cat Queen and King!,” cat faces appear with a black background, similar to the original Queen video.
Then, the cats begin to sing re-done lyrics suitable for felines. The song touches on classic cat topics, like fitting into tiny boxes, nudging owners for pets, and sleeping on keyboards.
They’re cleverly worded to perfectly fit the flow of the original song.
Serban shared the video on YouTube, saying, “Cats are royalty. We are their willing servants. Bohemian Catsody – enjoy a parody song of the Queen classic, Bohemian Rhapsody, this time, all about CATS!”
