I’ll try to keep this short! To be honest, we weren’t looking to add to our family just yet, but one morning I came across Save All Dogs Rescue. That’s where I saw Maddox. I remember texting my husband a picture of him and saying we had to get him.
At first, I was worried because he was so much bigger than our little chihuahua. I thought there’s no way I can handle him or that he will be gentle with our other dog. And what if my children and he don’t click? What if his food aggression never ends?

But after having him for almost two months, he has come so far. His food aggression is gone. He loves his entire family. He has also learned how to be less reactive on his leash and not pull us on walks. He knows all his basic commands and now we are working on other things, such as not crying when we leave him at home.
He is a huge love and the perfect fit for us. All dogs are capable of anything no matter what they come from. It just takes time and patience. We want to thank you guys so much for our boy.
