A five-year-old girl from Akron, Ohio, was absolutely devastated when her Pit bull/Labrador mix, Buddy, went missing from their backyard after the gate was accidentally left open.
Madison Wallace and her family searched for hours on end for Buddy, but he was nowhere to be found. Days went by, but they never stopped looking. They checked all of the shelters in the area every single day, and put flyers all around town.
They took to Facebook to post pictures of Buddy in case anyone recognized him or knew where he was. Madison then wanted to record a video to post in hopes of finding her beloved furry best friend. Madison’s mother posted Madison’s very tearful plea to Facebook. Much to the Wallace’s surprise, the video wound up going viral, breaking hearts all over America, as well as other countries!
Thankfully, Madison’s plea was answered! After receiving many tips from all over, the family finally got a call from a woman who had found Buddy and brought him home to keep him safe.
The Wallace’s have since been reunited with Buddy, and it was a very heart-warming moment. The kids were beyond thrilled to finally have their best friend back. Watch their reactions in the video below:
